Lanyang Museum to host low-carbon sustainability market in Yilan

The Lanyang Museum in Yilan will host the ‘2026 Lanyang Museum Low-Carbon Sustainability Market’ on September 26 and 27. The event features over 20 stalls and 30 teams, showcasing local eco-friendly agricultural products, green catering, and handmade cultural creations.

Key activities include a ‘Zero Waste Market’ for second-hand goods, a ‘Repair Station’ offering appliance and bicycle maintenance, and various hands-on sustainability workshops. The market also features ‘Green Flash Concerts’ with West African drumming and local musical performances, alongside educational lectures on topics such as slow food and marine debris.

To promote environmental responsibility, organizers encourage attendees to bring their own reusable utensils, cups, and shopping bags, and to use public transportation or bicycles to reach the venue.
