Lao Cai accelerates digital transformation and AI training

Lao Cai province is accelerating its digital transformation initiatives through various training and partnership programs. Hoang Giang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, has called for urgent progress in implementing digital transformation tasks within Party agencies.

To support this transition, the province organized a conference to update leadership and management officials on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation for 2026. Additionally, the People's Committee of Lao Cai signed a cooperation agreement with CMC Technology Group to promote digital government, digital economy, digital society, and digital citizenship for the 2026–2030 period.

The province is also working on a pilot digital transformation model for the development of socialist communes and wards, specifically focusing on Lao Cai ward and Tran Yen commune.
