Lao Cai enters peak harvest season for specialty fruits

Lao Cai province is experiencing various harvest seasons across its highland regions. In Muong Khuong, the crunchy persimmon harvest is underway with stable prices and high yields reported in areas such as Lao Chai and Sa Pa.

Other regions are also seeing seasonal activity, including the ripening of rice terraces in Muong Bo and the harvest of various specialty fruits throughout the highland localities. Additionally, infrastructure work continues on the Ngoi Phat bridge, a key component of the road connecting the Ban Vuoc border gate with Y Ty, with efforts underway to complete the project ahead of its February 2027 deadline.
