Lao Cai holds training for youth creativity competition

The Union of Science and Technology Associations in Lao Cai Province held a training workshop on October 8 to improve the quality of the provincial Youth and Children's Creativity Competition. The session was attended by 80 managers and teachers from various educational institutions and local administrative levels.

The workshop focused on regulations, selection methods, and product development strategies. It emphasized the roles of schools, teachers, STEM clubs, and local authorities in identifying and nurturing students' scientific and technical talents. The competition aims to provide a platform for students aged 6 to 18 to apply scientific ideas to practical life through categories such as educational tools, computer software, environmentally friendly products, and climate change mitigation technologies.
