Lao Cai implements new Party supervision and personnel selection plans

The Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee has launched several administrative and organizational initiatives for the 2025–2030 term. Following the first Provincial Party Congress, the Provincial Party Committee issued Project No. 03-ĐA/TU to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of Party inspection, supervision, and discipline.

To implement this, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Board has established several supervision teams to monitor the implementation of central and provincial resolutions. Supervision efforts will focus on leadership and the execution of strategic resolutions, including the goal of achieving double-digit economic growth. The initiative emphasizes proactive prevention and regular monitoring within the local government model.

Separately, the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee has announced a competitive examination process to select candidates for the position of Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union for the 2025–2030 term. Candidates must be Communist Party members under the age of 37, hold a university degree or higher, and possess advanced political theory qualifications. The selection process encourages applicants with practical experience in youth union work and the ability to mobilize young people.
