Lao Cai police fine five teenagers for traffic violations

Lao Cai traffic police have penalized five teenagers for multiple traffic violations on National Highway 32. The enforcement action followed a 37-second video submitted by a citizen via the VNeTraffic application, which showed the group operating motorcycles in Tu Le commune.

The violations included riding without helmets, lacking rearview mirrors, missing mandatory civil liability insurance, and operating vehicles without registration. Some individuals were also found riding in lines of three or more, failing to stay on the right side of the road, or operating vehicles without meeting the required age. One individual, born in 2008, was also cited for driving without a license and using a mobile phone while operating the vehicle. Authorities have seized the involved vehicles and issued total fines amounting to 22.775 million VND.
