Vietnam regional administrative and development updates

Various administrative and developmental activities are underway across several Vietnamese provinces. In Lao Cai, a selection exam has commenced to identify candidates for the position of Provincial Youth Union Secretary for the 2025–2030 term, focusing on leadership capacity and political integrity.

In Quang Ninh, a National Assembly delegation led by Nguyen Dac Vinh inspected the province's education sector. The province allocates nearly 800 billion VND annually to support educational policies, including textbook subsidies and school milk programs, though challenges regarding teacher shortages and uneven teaching capacity remain.

In Gia Lai, authorities are accelerating licensing procedures for material mines to support the Quy Nhon – Pleiku expressway project. Officials are working to resolve shortages in soil and stone supplies to ensure construction timelines are met.

In Quang Tri, the provincial government has mandated that every commune must establish at least one library or community cultural space. This initiative includes a directive to repurpose surplus public land and assets for community health and cultural services by late 2026.
