Lao Cai promotes entrepreneurship and economic development

Lao Cai province is focusing on driving economic growth through business innovation and support for female entrepreneurs. Under the GREAT (Gender Responsive Effective Action for Transformation) project, the “Business Acceleration Leverage” competition was held to empower women in business leadership. Participants presented business plans, market strategies, and production models to improve professional management and competitiveness.

Additionally, the province is leveraging the OCOP (One Commune, One Product) program to connect local agricultural specialties to broader markets. This initiative aims to enhance the value of local products and build strong regional brands through dedicated introduction and sales points.
