Lao Cai promotes youth development and business innovation

Lao Cai province is implementing new initiatives focused on youth development and economic integration through technology. The Lao Cai Youth Union recently organized a forum to launch a campaign aimed at building modern youth models for 2026. The campaign emphasizes three core values: “Pure Heart” (political steadfastness and patriotism), “Bright Mind” (mastery of science, technology, and digital transformation), and “Great Ambition” (community service and economic contribution).

In parallel, discussions regarding the province's economic growth focus on solving eight major challenges related to science, technology, and innovation. The Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam has proposed mechanisms to help local businesses participate in large-scale projects and integrate into supply chains. Experts suggest utilizing sandbox models for testing new technologies and establishing digital platforms to support a “three-party” development model involving government, businesses, and researchers.
