Lao Cai province implements new business support measures

The Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has issued Document No. 10349/UBND-KT to strengthen the monitoring of production and business activities within the province. This initiative aims to enhance support for enterprises during the final months of 2026.

Under the directive, authorities are instructed to provide practical and effective assistance without creating unnecessary administrative procedures or harassment. The province will prioritize using existing specialized databases and will only engage in direct work with businesses when strictly necessary. Support measures must include identifying specific solutions, assigning responsible agencies, and setting completion deadlines to help businesses resolve obstacles and expand production capacity.

Specific responsibilities have been assigned to various departments: the Department of Industry and Trade will monitor industrial and commercial enterprises; the Department of Construction will oversee construction, transport, and warehousing; the Department of Agriculture and Environment will monitor agricultural businesses; and the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will manage tourism enterprises. The Department of Finance will lead the review of enterprise lists and propose solutions to promote economic growth.
