Lao Cai social policy credit supports job creation and livelihoods

In the first nine months of 2026, the Lao Cai Province branch of the Social Policy Bank disbursed 990.194 billion VND through job creation loan programs. This funding supported 10,220 customers, with the majority of the 983.4 billion VND directed toward programs for maintaining and expanding existing employment.

On average, each customer received approximately 97.2 million VND. These loans enable households and businesses to invest in machinery, materials, and livestock, helping to expand production scales and create local employment opportunities. This access to capital is intended to reduce reliance on seasonal labor and minimize the need for residents to seek work far from home.
