Vietnam traffic authorities issue multiple fines for road safety violations

Traffic authorities in Vietnam have issued several fines for various road safety violations. In Lào Cai, a taxi driver and a transport company were fined a combined 114.4 million VND. The driver, P. A. L., was caught speeding and operating the vehicle without a license, while the owner, D. CN&T. M. Joint Stock Company, was penalized for allowing an unqualified person to drive and using expired vehicle registration documents.

In Gia Lai, two youths were fined 27 million VND for driving a motorcycle without helmets, swerving, and traveling against traffic. In Hà Nội, a truck driver was fined 25 million VND for reversing at a railway crossing, which resulted in damage to a barrier.

Additionally, in Hưng Yên, traffic police provided emergency assistance to a mother by using a specialized vehicle to transport her 15-month-old son to the hospital after he suffered seizures.
