Laprophan Group to acquire Polymedic

Laprophan Group has signed a contract to acquire 100% of the capital of Corporate Investment Holding (CIH), the parent company of the Moroccan pharmaceutical laboratory Polymedic. The group has formally notified the Competition Council of this acquisition project.

This move is part of Laprophan’s external growth strategy, following previous acquisitions such as Amanys Pharma, Botanic Pharma, and the Swiss multinational Rivopharm. The acquisition of Polymedic aims to maximize synergies across product portfolios, distribution channels, and industrial and logistical capacities.

Founded in 1964, Polymedic is an established player in the Moroccan pharmaceutical industry, specializing in the development, manufacture, and marketing of medicines and licensed specialties.
