L'Aquila Court Approves Aura Business Transfer to Stemin

The Tribunal of L'Aquila authorized the sale of Aura's industrial branch to the company Stemin. The court ruled the transaction would ensure production continuity, protect employment levels and satisfy creditors, while allowing the new owner to avoid assuming the previous management’s liabilities.

Mayor Pierluigi Biondi welcomed the decision as a way to prevent liquidation and support the plant’s industrial revival. Trade unions (CISL, FIOM, CGIL, UIL) praised the outcome, calling for the definition of occupational levels and continued collaboration with regional and municipal authorities to sustain jobs and promote a green, sustainable industrial future.
