L'Aquila hosts 20th Cordata X le Celestine charity event

The 20th edition of “Cordata X le Celestine” has been announced in L'Aquila, running from August 22 to 29. Organized by the MissiON Amici di San Basilio association, the charity initiative aims to raise funds to support the humanitarian missions of the Celestine nuns.

The program features a diverse schedule of civic engagement, including exhibitions, conferences, and musical performances. A significant symbolic event is the “Cammino delle Celestine,” a walk from the San Basilio Monastery to Roio, the location of the 2009 earthquake epicenter. Other scheduled activities include discussions on Saint Francis, religious services, and various cultural talks and concerts at the San Filippo theater.
