L'Aquila hosts historical exhibition on Buccio di Ranallo

In L'Aquila, an exhibition titled ‘Le Voci di Buccio’ has opened at the historic house on via Accursio. The project features a 17-minute projection that narrates the city's history through the chronicles of Buccio di Ranallo, who wrote in the Aquilan vernacular starting from 1362.

The installation is designed with high accessibility in mind, featuring Italian Sign Language (LIS) interpreters, English subtitles, audio QR codes, and a tactile model of the building's facade. The presentation uses projected text and imagery to bridge different historical eras, allowing visitors to experience the city's evolution through the rhythmic verses and sonnets of the historical chronicler.
