L’Aquila secures 3 million euros for youth inclusion project

The municipality of L’Aquila has secured over 3 million euros for the DesTEENazione project, an experimental initiative promoted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies. The funding is specifically intended for local youth to promote social inclusion, participation, training, and the prevention of school dropouts.

Developed in collaboration with the social sector, cooperatives, and local associations, the project aims to create concrete opportunities for pre-adolescents and adolescents. The initiative will involve the creation of multifunctional spaces dedicated to social aggregation and the development of personal and social skills, alongside integrated services designed to support the growth of the younger generation.
