L'Aquila to host European Week of Occupational Health and Safety

L'Aquila will host the European Week of Occupational Health and Safety on October 20, 21, and 26, 2026. The event, organized by Inail and the Municipality of L'Aquila, aims to foster dialogue between institutions, businesses, professionals, workers, and the educational sector.

Supported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies, the initiative will address key prevention challenges, including regulatory evolution, the use of new technologies, safety in the construction sector, training for younger generations, and the prevention of commuting accidents. Inail President Fabrizio D’Ascenzo emphasized that prevention must become an integral part of work organization and community culture rather than just a matter of regulatory compliance.
