L'Aquila waste firm Asm placed under agitation amid staffing and service crisis

A conciliation table involving Mayor Pierluigi Biondi, Asm’s sole administrator Lucio Luzzetti, union representatives and municipal officials continued its work, while councilors vowed to keep pressing the issue in council meetings, citing the city’s high waste tax and the lingering effects of the 2023 fire that worsened the company’s financial problems.
