Lara Colturi Prepares for 2027 Alpine World Cup in Italy
Lara Colturi, a 19‑year‑old alpine skier from Val di Susa, is intensifying her preparations for the 2027 women's World Cup events in Italy. After a serious knee injury during training for the 2026 Courchevel‑Méribel World Championships, she has switched to HEAD equipment and is basing her training in Val di Fassa, a region she has visited for three consecutive summers.
The upcoming World Cup races will take place at Passo San Pellegrino on 9–10 January 2027, featuring downhill and super‑G events. Colturi aims to compete there and may also appear at the Sankt Moritz super‑G on 18–19 December. Additional key races include the night race in Flachau on 4–5 January. Interviews with Sky Sport will soon detail her objectives and recovery progress.
