Laredo, Texas donates emergency equipment to Corregidora

The municipality of Corregidora has received emergency response equipment donated by the government of Laredo, Texas. The donation includes a ladder truck designed to facilitate rapid rescue operations and assistance in high-altitude areas, as well as 10 sets of protective gear.

Cristina Fernández de Cevallos, representing the municipal president, noted that the equipment strengthens the capabilities of local firefighters and Civil Protection units. The initiative is part of a sister-city relationship between Corregidora and Laredo, which also includes training for emergency personnel in the United States. Laredo Fire Chief Guillermo Heard stated that the donation aims to bolster collaboration between the two communities to improve emergency response and save lives. In addition to Corregidora, the Laredo government provided units and protective equipment to other municipalities in Querétaro and the State Civil Protection Coordination.
