In Denmark, DTU Aqua researchers landed a 300-kilogram bluefin tuna near Læsø. The fish was caught as part of an annual marking project aimed at understanding the migration and survival of the species in Scandinavian waters. While the tuna was a significant find indicating the return of large predators to Danish waters, the fish did not survive the marking process.
