Large-scale Egyptian chicken farm operates in Ha Tinh
A large-scale Egyptian chicken farm in Toan Luu commune, Ha Tinh province, is producing over 28,000 eggs daily. Owned by Nguyen Huu Dung, the facility represents a total investment of approximately 10 billion VND.
The farm maintains a population of more than 40,000 chickens, consisting of roughly 30,000 layers and 10,000 replacement pullets. To manage the high productivity and relatively low resistance of the Egyptian breed, the farm utilizes a scientific closed-housing system. This setup includes automated feeding and watering, as well as ventilation and cooling equipment to maintain stable environmental conditions.
Eggs are sold at a price of 2,500 VND per unit. After accounting for operational costs, the farm generates a daily profit of nearly 30 million VND. The owner plans to continue expanding the facility and investing in technology to improve production processes.
