Large Warehouse Fire Engulfs 3,500 m² in Guarulhos, Brazil – No Injuries Reported

A fire broke out at 20:29 on 5 June 2026 at a logistics warehouse on Rua Guaporé in Guarulhos, São Paulo state. The blaze affected about 3,500 m² of the 3,800 m² facility, which stored diverse materials including PVC pipes.

The incident mobilised up to 38 firefighters, 14 fire‑engine vehicles and ten additional units for the ensuing rescaling phase. By the morning of 6 June the flames were under control, though the fire was not fully extinguished. There were no reports of injuries or damage to neighboring properties. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The warehouse is located roughly 12 km from São Paulo International Airport and did not affect the nearby Vila Izildinha community.
