Larian Studios' Divinity trailer sparks Lord of Chaos theories

Speculation regarding the upcoming role-playing game Divinity from Larian Studios has increased following the release of a behind-the-scenes video by animation studio Unit Image. The video, which details the creation of the game's announcement trailer, contains details that fans believe point to the return of the Lord of Chaos.

An analysis by fan WolfheartFPS suggests that runes found on a crown in the trailer, which appear to be based on the Elder Futhark, may translate to the phrase “Chaos is coming”. While the interpretation is speculative, it aligns with long-standing fan theories that the deity and creator of demons, who has previously only appeared in lore, will serve as a major antagonist in the new title.
