Larino celebrates liturgical feast of patron San Pardo
The community of Larino celebrated the liturgical feast of its patron saint, San Pardo, on October 17, 2026. Known locally as ‘San Pardo di vendemmia’ due to its connection to the harvest, the event included a Holy Rosary and a solemn Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Claudio Palumbo of the Termoli-Larino diocese.
Following the religious services at the Concattedrale, a traditional procession featuring the bust of San Pardo took place through the streets of the historic center. During his homily, Bishop Palumbo reflected on the Gospel of the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time, emphasizing the spiritual identity of humanity and the importance of dedicating one's life to God.
