Larissa Chamber of Commerce announces business awards and leadership transition

The Larissa Chamber of Commerce is organizing an anniversary event to honor local businesses that have been operating for at least 80 years. The Business Journey and Resilience Awards will recognize member companies established before 1950 that continue to contribute to the local economy. The commemorative event is scheduled for December 19, 2026, at the Divani Palace Larissa.

Additionally, the Chamber has announced a planned leadership transition for 2027. Christos Giakouvis, head of the “Synergia gia Anaptyxi” faction, has confirmed an agreement with Dimitris Papalexis of the “Epanekkinisi” faction to rotate the presidency midway through the current four-year term.
