Larissa educational and cultural officials hold regional meetings

Officials in the Larissa region held meetings to discuss educational improvements and cultural initiatives. At the 2nd Laboratory Center of Larissa, Deputy Mayors Thomas Retsianis and Christos Agoritsas reviewed new laboratory equipment, including sublimation heat press machines, funded by the municipal departments of Culture and Education.

This support facilitated the ‘Peneios – The River Within Us’ program, where students from various applied arts specialties created works inspired by the Peneios River. The project concluded with a student exhibition at Mylos tou Pappa.

In a separate meeting, the Director of Primary Education in Larissa, Aikaterini Karagiorgou, met with the Elassona Primary Education Teachers' Association. Discussions focused on the needs of school units in the Elassona region and potential collaborations, including first aid training seminars in partnership with EKAV Thessaly and civil protection educational programs.
