Larissa hosts breast cancer awareness event
The city of Larissa held the ‘As long as it is PINK, I hope’ initiative on October 16 to raise awareness for breast cancer. Held at the Kouma pedestrian street in front of the French Institute of Larissa, the event focused on the importance of early diagnosis and providing support to those affected by the disease.
The initiative was led by the Association of Cancer Patients of Larissa, in collaboration with IASO Thessaly, the Larissa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Committee for Female Entrepreneurship, the Association of Thessalian Enterprises and Industries (STHEV), and the French Institute of Larissa.
Survivors shared personal stories to highlight the challenges of the illness and the value of human solidarity.
