Larissa hosts major traditional Greek music festival

Larissa and the Thessaly region are hosting a major traditional Greek music festival titled ‘Astiko Glenti’. The event, held at the Neapoli Covered Market, is expected to draw over 3,500 attendees from across Greece.

Organized by the Chorokyklo Cultural Association in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly and the Municipality of Larissa, the festival features a wide array of prominent traditional musicians and singers. The event is free of charge and aims to celebrate Greek musical heritage, dance, and community. Performers include Antonis Kyritsis, Panagiotis Lalezas, Stavroula Daliani, and several other leading artists in the genre.
