Larissa infrastructure controversy over Panagouli Street works

The political group Symparataxi Larision has criticized the local administration in Larissa regarding the lack of coordination for infrastructure works on Panagouli Street. The group noted that the road, which was recently paved, is scheduled to be excavated again for the installation of optical fibers between Ioustinianou and Timiski streets.

While the deputy mayor stated that the responsible company has agreed to restore the full width of the road, the group questioned why the network installations did not precede the paving. They pointed out that previous administrations had successfully coordinated such works to avoid damaging newly reconstructed roads.

Symparataxi Larision is calling for a regulatory decision to establish strict terms for work permits and road restoration. Their proposals include mandatory full-width road restoration for any street paved within the last five years and the replacement of sidewalk slabs with materials of identical color and quality.
