Larissa Man Hospitalized After Electric Scooter Crash

A 43‑year‑old man suffered a serious head injury after his electric scooter collided with a pedestrian on Ogl Street in Larissa on the morning of 31 July. He fell backward, striking the back of his head. Although he initially felt well and was not taken to a hospital, his condition worsened shortly after returning home, prompting his parents to call an ambulance.

Emergency services (EKAB) transported him to the University Hospital of Larissa, where doctors intubated him and admitted him to the intensive‑care unit of the Thessaly Regional General Hospital (IASO). Recent reports note a slight improvement in his condition, but he remains critically ill and under close medical observation.
