Larissa MP protests exclusion of 303 PEB from military upgrade fund

Larissa MP and PASOK-KINAL official Evangelia Liakouli has criticized the Ministry of National Defence for excluding the 303 Advanced Base Factory (303 PEB) from a €63.5 million modernization and energy upgrade program for military factories.

During an emergency meeting with the Association of Employees of the Ministry of National Defence in Thessaly, Liakouli highlighted that the 303 PEB faces chronic infrastructure issues, including asbestos-containing materials and earthquake-prone buildings, as well as shortages in personnel and equipment. She argued that while other military factories are being modernized, the Larissa unit remains neglected despite its critical role and technical expertise.
