Larissa Municipal Conservatory to host Chopin Nocturne concert

The Larissa Municipal Conservatory will host the ‘Nocturne’ chamber music concert on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 20:00. The performance features the works of Frédéric Chopin, specifically focusing on the Cello Sonata in G minor, Op. 65.

Inspired by rediscovered letters from 1845–1847, the program highlights Chopin’s creative process and his struggle to balance the cello and piano during a difficult period in his life. The concert will be performed by Ioanna Siopidi on piano and Nikos Nikolaidis on cello.

The evening will conclude with three of Chopin’s Nocturnes: E-flat major, Op. 55 No. 2; C-sharp minor, Op. 27 No. 1; and D-flat major, Op. 27 No. 2. The event is organized by Clé d’Ut Ouverte under the auspices of the Association of Teachers of the Larissa Municipal Conservatory.
