Larissa Municipality concludes ‘Camp in the City’ summer program

The Municipality of Larissa has concluded its ‘Camp in the City’ program with a celebratory event held at the Neapoli football fields. The closing ceremony featured music, dance, sports, and games to mark the end of a successful summer season.

According to Mayor Thanasis Mamakos, the quality of the events improved this year, noting that the program helped make the city more vibrant. Deputy Mayor of Education Christos Agoritsas reported that approximately 3,400 to 3,500 children participated in the program throughout the summer. Stavroula Baxevanos, head of the Municipality's Education Department, highlighted the positive social interactions and sportsmanship fostered among the participants during the various activities.
