Larissa Municipality announces 2026 Festive Parade

The Municipality of Larissa has announced the return of its Festive Parade for the third consecutive year, scheduled to take place on December 30, 2026. The event aims to establish the city as a welcoming and extroverted holiday destination for visitors from across Greece.

This year’s celebration will feature a strong dance component. The parade will be led by festive floats featuring local dance schools performing choreographed routines through the city’s central streets. The municipality is inviting citizens and groups from other regions to participate in large organized groups following the floats, requiring only a positive attitude rather than professional dance skills.
