Larissa region hosts scientific seminar on infertility and demographics

The Municipality of Farsala is organizing an informative seminar titled “Infertility, Low Birth Rate, and Demographics” on November 7, 2026, at the Farsala Cultural Center. The event aims to provide scientific information regarding modern treatments for infertility, advancements in assisted reproduction, and the broader social and demographic challenges facing Greece, with a specific focus on the Farsala region.

The seminar features participation from distinguished scientists and specialists in reproductive medicine. Key speakers include George Patoulis, President of the Athens Medical Association, Konstantinos Pantos, General Secretary of the Hellenic Society of Reproductive Medicine, and Konstantinos Dafopoulos, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Thessaly. Other contributors include Georgios Kontopoulos, who will discuss the early investigation of infertility in couples.
