Larissa region launches vineyard restructuring aid and olive‑moth spray program

The Directorate of Agricultural Economy of the Regional Unit of Larissa announced that producers can submit applications for the Vineyard Restructuring and Conversion Programme (P2‑58) from 7 July to 28 July 2026 via the Ministry of Rural Development’s e‑service. The scheme targets vineyards with wine‑producing varieties, offering a one‑off grant without a guarantee letter. Eligible measures must be completed by 10 June 2027.

A separate initiative schedules the first general dolomitic spray to combat the olive moth on 15 July 2026. The operation will cover municipalities including Tempi, Agia, Elassona and Tyrnavos, following Law 2413/53 on olive‑moth control. Olive growers are required to be present at their farms during spraying, while beekeepers and livestock owners must keep animals away to avoid poisonings. The programme also reminds organic growers to mark their plots to prevent pesticide exposure.
