Larissa Stratmann discusses hunting as a lifestyle in Haltern

Larissa Stratmann, a 27-year-old resident of Haltern, describes hunting not merely as a hobby but as a fundamental lifestyle choice rooted in a passion for nature. Her interest in the outdoors began in childhood, influenced by her late uncle, a veterinarian and hunter.

After being inspired by the taste of wild game at a social gathering, Stratmann began her training in the autumn of 2021 through the Kreisjägerschaft Recklinghausen. Her preparation for the hunting license, often referred to as the ‘green Abitur’, involved rigorous theoretical study and shooting practice.
