Larissa students participate in mathematical awards and national parade

In Larissa, Greece, the local branch of the Hellenic Mathematical Society held an awards ceremony to honor students who excelled in mathematics competitions. During the event, Member of Parliament Evangelia Liakouli praised the students, educators, and parents for their contributions to the success of the younger generation, emphasizing the importance of cultivating high goals and mathematical thinking.

Additionally, students from the 26th Primary School of Larissa participated in the traditional October 28th parade to commemorate the ‘OXI’ national anniversary. Despite continuous rain and adverse weather conditions, the students marched to honor the heroes of 1940, demonstrating discipline and respect for historical memory.
