Larissa to host autoimmune rheumatic disease conference

The Greek Society of Anti-Rheumatic Struggle, in collaboration with the Cyprus Rheumatology Association, will host a two-day patient conference titled “Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases: Health Beyond Joints.” The event is scheduled for November 27 and 28, 2026, at the JOIST Innovation Park in Larissa, Greece.

The conference focuses on the holistic needs of individuals living with autoimmune rheumatic diseases, including chronic pain management, mental health, comorbidities, and overall quality of life. Health professionals and patient representatives will discuss diagnosis, treatment, complication prevention, and long-term care.

Admission is free to the public. The event is held under the auspices of the Region of Thessaly and various local health and municipal authorities, with support from several pharmaceutical companies.
