Larissa to host “boobs – art for awareness” photography exhibition

The “boobs – art for awareness” photography exhibition is scheduled to take place in Larissa from October 5 to October 30, 2026. Co-organized with the Larissa Cancer Patients Association, the event will be hosted at the French Institute of Larissa.

Created by photographer and sociologist Sylvia Kouveli, the non-profit initiative began in 2017. It uses anonymous photography to raise awareness about breast health, cancer, and body image. The project aims to break taboos by showcasing diverse representations of the breast, including scars, tattoos, and asymmetry, to encourage dialogue regarding prevention, treatment, and self-care.
