Larissa to host major traditional Greek music festival

Larissa is set to host ‘Astiko Gledenti’, a major traditional Greek music and dance celebration on August 29. The event is organized by the ‘Chorokyklo’ Cultural Association in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly and the Municipality of Larissa.

The festival will feature 700 dancers traveling from across Greece to participate in a large-scale traditional gathering. The event offers free admission and will showcase various musical traditions and folk dances. Featured performers include vocalists such as Antonis Kyritsis, Panagiotis Lalezas, Stavroula Daliani, Alexis Parcharidis, and Nikos Zapartas, accompanied by a wide array of renowned traditional musicians.
