L’Arruzz celebrates 24 years as Barcelona's Osteria Condal opens

L’Arruzz, a Mediterranean restaurant in Alicante, marks its 24th anniversary. The eatery, known for its shared rice dishes and a menu that blends seafood, meat and vegetables, operates from two city‑centre locations on Calle Portugal and Calle San Francisco. Its long‑standing focus on quality, price and friendly service has made it a summer staple for locals and visitors.

In Barcelona, the newly opened Osteria Condal brings a cosmopolitan take on the classic osteria. Led by chef Paolo Casagrande and backed by the Orobianco group, the restaurant blends Italian roots with Mediterranean and international influences. Chef Andrea Fiori, who spent years in Asia, prepares fresh pasta on site and sources dry pasta from Italy. The menu offers a shared “Paral·lel” tasting for €90 and an individual “Frenesia” tasting of six courses, highlighting dishes such as linguine with pil‑pil tomato sauce.
