Lars Stindl's legacy at Hannover 96

Lars Stindl is remembered for his significant role at Hannover 96, particularly his decisive goal against FC Copenhagen in November 2011. That victory was a key moment in the club's international campaign, which saw them reach the Europa League quarterfinals before being eliminated by Atlético Madrid.

During his tenure from 2010 to 2015, Stindl made 161 competitive appearances, scoring 26 goals and providing 28 assists. He eventually served as the team captain before continuing his career with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
