Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has been awarded two significant infrastructure contracts in New Delhi and Andhra Pradesh.
In New Delhi, the Central Public Works Department has commissioned L&T to construct Common Central Secretariat buildings 4 and 5 along Kartavya Path. The project involves two buildings with a total built-up area of 32.8 lakh square feet. Executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, the work includes structural, architectural, MEP, and external development. Completion is expected within 24 months, followed by a five-year operation and maintenance period.
In Andhra Pradesh, the state government has awarded L&T a design-and-build contract to construct two 47-storey office towers flanking the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre. These towers will have a combined built-up area of 37.5 lakh square feet. L&T will execute the shell and core works, with a scheduled completion timeline of 30 months. The project is part of efforts to establish Amaravati as a technology and administrative hub.
