BMW launches updated 7 Series and i7 flagship sedans in India and Turkey

BMW has launched its updated 7 Series and all-electric i7 flagship sedan range in India and Turkey. In India, the lineup includes the petrol-powered 740 M Sport and electric variants like the i7 50 xDrive and the high-performance i7 M70 xDrive. Notably, India is one of the few countries outside Germany to locally assemble the all-electric i7 at its Chennai plant.

The new models feature significant technological and design updates, including the BMW Panoramic Vision projection system, an 8K Theatre Screen for rear passengers, and an illuminated kidney grille. The i7 M70 xDrive variant is highlighted as a performance flagship, delivering 680 hp and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.8 seconds.

In Turkey, the 7 Series has also been introduced with both mild-hybrid petrol and fully electric options, including the BMW 740 xDrive, i7 60 xDrive, and i7 M70 xDrive. The Turkish market launch emphasizes the Neue Klasse vision, offering various customization options and advanced interior technologies such as the BMW Operating System X.

Additionally, aftermarket tuner Larte Design has introduced a carbon fiber body kit for the BMW X7, featuring ten new components including a dry carbon hood and various aerodynamic elements to enhance the SUV's aesthetic.
