Larvotto Resources begins antimony and gold production at Hillgrove mine
Larvotto Resources has commenced antimony and gold concentrate production at its refurbished Hillgrove mining operation in New South Wales. The company successfully commissioned the processing plant’s flotation circuit and concentrate filter presses, marking a major milestone following the restart of operations in August.
Over an initial eight-year mine life, Hillgrove is projected to produce approximately 4,900 tonnes of antimony and 40,500 ounces of gold annually. The antimony concentrate is produced at a 60 per cent specification.
Larvotto has secured binding offtake agreements for its output. Wogen Resources holds exclusive global sales rights for all antimony produced during the first seven years of mining. Additionally, Glencore International AG will purchase all gold concentrate produced during the same seven-year period, with an expected annual offtake of roughly 15,000 dry metric tonnes.
