Larvotto Resources reports high-grade gold and tungsten intercepts in NSW
Larvotto Resources has reported significant high-grade drill results at its Clarks Gully prospect in New South Wales, part of the Hillgrove gold-antimony-tungsten operation. The results come from the first ten holes of a 16-hole diamond drilling campaign aimed at extending mineralisation at depth and to the south of the existing resource.
Key intercepts include 0.5 metres grading 62.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent (AuEq) and 0.8 metres at 42.7g/t AuEq from a broader 9.5m zone assaying 8.07g/t AuEq. Other notable hits include 1m at 60.4g/t AuEq and 1m at 45.09g/t AuEq. The drilling also confirmed high-grade tungsten-bearing scheelite mineralisation, with one intercept returning 7.27 per cent tungsten trioxide (WO3).
Managing Director Ron Heeks stated that the results demonstrate growth potential, as the drilling identified multiple mineralised structures parallel to the main lode. The company noted that the mineralised system appears to remain open down-dip and along strike, suggesting considerable exploration upside beyond the current resource.
