Las Condes reports 92% success rate in social reintegration program

The Municipality of Las Condes has concluded the first 2026 cycle of its Conecta program, an initiative designed to support social and labor reintegration through vocational training and multidisciplinary support. The program recently certified 20 residents in furniture-making techniques.

Mayor Catalina San Martín highlighted the program's impact on community safety, noting that between 2024 and 2025, 92% of the 98 graduates have not reoffended. Additionally, 71% of participants are currently engaged in occupational activities, including formal employment, entrepreneurship, or independent work.
